The Definition of Truth and Lie by Role
Because morals are fundamentally subjective and specific to the entity's role, the moral duty to "tell the truth" means upholding the integrity of the Signal appropriate to that role.
1. For the Broadcaster / Architect (The System Author)
The Broadcaster's moral purpose is to maintain and enforce their Signal.

The Receiver's moral purpose is Compliance and Legibility—to be a functional part of the shared hallucination set by the dominant Broadcaster.

For the Rogue Sage, a lie is not immoral if it successfully acts as a "drawing of meat" to distract the world. The only immoral act is telling a statement that makes the True Self legible.
